VistaMetrixprovidesaneasywaytoextractusefulnumbersfrom
graphicalimages,especiallywhenthedatausedtoproduceanimageis
unavailable.Thisincludesgraphs,maps,orotherimagesthatmightbe
scanned,downloadedfromtheInternet,orcapturedasdigital
photographsorvideofiles.

HerearesomeofthethingsyoucandowithVistaMetrix:
-Extractvaluesfromcontinuousordiscretegraphs.Ithandlesmultiple
datasetsandgraphsthathavebeentiltedduetoscanning.
-Measuredistanceandareaonmultiple,curvedpaths.Alongthesepaths
youcanplaceannotatedmarkersthatshowintermediatedistances.
-Measureanglesandstraight-linedistances.
-Recordthecolorvalues(RGB,HLS,andCMYK)atmultiplepointsinthe
image.

Theextractedgraphvalues,distances,areas,andcolorvaluescanbe
savedasExcelorcomma-delimitedtextfiles.
